The annual nationwide festival begins its 15th year on September 20, 2024

TORONTO, Aug. 20, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — It’s time to create, share, and celebrate! Culture Days 2024 starts in just one month. A three-week optional art, heritage, and culture tour will take place from 20 September to 13 October 2024offers thousands of free, hands-on events, workshops, and activities in communities across Canada. Designed to increase creative opportunities and expand access and support for local arts and culture for all, Culture Days promotes 4.4 million records people to come out and be creative just last year.

Culture Days is proudly celebrating 15 years as champions, advocates and connectors for Canada’s arts and culture sector. With over 1,600 in-person and online events already registeredparticipants will have access to a nationwide network of free events, workshops, activities, concerts, and more, covering every interest, style and expression of art, culture and heritage. Organizers of the event, which include municipalities, art and culture centers, individual artists, cultural organizations, community groups, and clubs, contribute to the growth. During Culture Days, find free experiences in cities and small towns alike. From big marquee events like Toronto Biennial of Art 2024 and Nuit Blanche Winnipeg open houses, owiceskoyakinikewak at the Art Gallery of Regina, studio tours, local festivals such as Fusion Festivall at Creative Pictou Hub, Nova Scotia, and more, there’s something for everyone.
